• Hannah Cumler

    FOUNDER & HOST

Hannah is a broadcast news journalist with years of experience working in newsrooms across the country. She fell in love with northern Michigan after moving to Traverse City in 2018 and has been dreaming of the day she'd be back, living on the shores of Lake Michigan.

A native New Englander, Hannah was raised in Maine and attended college at Northeastern University in Boston. After graduating, she went on to work for NBC Sports Boston, helping to provide coverage for some of Boston’s biggest sporting events.

Shortly after the Red Sox won the 2018 World Series, Hannah left Boston for the Midwest and started her on-camera career at WPBN in Traverse City, Michigan. She worked as a morning reporter, evening news anchor, and sports co-host.

In 2021, Hannah headed south to take a job at WIS-TV as the station's new morning anchor. She transitioned again to the evening news and had the opportunity to launch an hour-long lifestyle show at the station before leaving in 2022.

Over the past year, Hannah has been freelancing as an anchor at NEWSCENTER Maine, her hometown station, while also working on the launch of Third Coast.

When she’s not at work, Hannah can be found seeking out the best restaurants and eateries in town, traveling with her family, staying active outdoors, and cheering on her favorite New England sports teams.
